Selection of my writing

Pranksters
Floating across the endless sky and let all our worries be.
Gather around to block Mr. Sun disappointing all that worship he.

Floating across the endless sky and let all our worries be.
Stopping at the mountain to catch the view that now no one else can see.

Floating across the endless sky and let all our worries be
Settling down over a busy town just in time to pee.
The Hand
I once had a conversation with a friend, and we were talking about pictures when I mentioned that I liked one of her and her husbands hands. When I told her why I liked that picture she became interested and wanted me to write about hands on my blog. So this is for you my friend.... and everyone else who reads my blog, which, if the statistics are correct, are a lot more people than I actually know. Which is nice. Thanks to you all, I know not who you are but hope you get something out of reading my post besides killing time.
So why do I like hands??
Have you ever felt the sensation of your hand gliding over a surface of some kind or holding it in a stream of water?
Besides from our brain, which is by far the most beautiful and interesting thing in the universe, the hand to me is the most interesting part of our body. It can both create or destroy. Over the years people have created some marvelous things like
Stonehenge, Taj Mahal, The Mona Lisa and Hamlet, but we have also created some horrible things like nerve gas, A-bomb and the YouTube comment section. That thing is seriously evil!
The hand can cause pain or pleasure, like punching someone in the face or give them a massage, we can also give pleasure to our self, and yes I do mean to "tug the sire" which interestingly is a euphemism for masturbating that I made up, and it is also an acronym of my name.
Some people even think you can tell someone's future by "reading" their hand, but that's their business, and a potential good business too.
But future telling  or not the hand is fascinating and if you take a moment to think about it and look at it you'll realize the same. Like how many of you can do the Vulcan sign where you make a V by separating the middle finger and the ring finger? I can not do it, and it annoys me because my girlfriend can, and she makes fun of me for not being able to.
The thing that I find most fascinating about the hand thou is shadow puppetry and how we can make really amazing images using only our hands. I'm not very good at it, but I can make a flying bird, a dog and an Indian chief.. Sort of. If you go to YouTube you'll find some remarkable and mind-blowing videos of shadow puppetry. Just avoid the comments, unless you want to lose all hope for humanity and fall into a bottomless pit of despair. The hand is like a word that has many definitions. It can be used as a greeting or a goodbye simply by waving it. It can symbolize power by making a fist or peace by making a V sign (like Churchill not Spock). You can use it to confirm, thumbs up (at least in my part of the world) or to insult, giving the finger.... or again making a V sign but this time with the palm towards your self. And it can symbolize friendship and/or respect with a handshake.
But for me the best thing about the hand is that from the right person a simple small touch can make the whole world disappear.
Trust
- Do you know what trust is? Trust is a surrender to other peoples abilities. And if you think this sounds like faith you’d be wrong.
Faith is based on hope and false knowledge whereas trust is based on actual empirical knowledge. That is why we trust friends, but we have faith in people. We trust friends because we have heard their words and seen their actions. We have faith in people because we have seen what some people do, and we induce that this is the norm, but this really isn’t more than just wishful thinking. Faith is free, but trust needs to be earned. Not everyone understands this, Some think that trust is the first step, when in reality it should be the last. Benefit of the doubt they call it. These are the people who get themselves killed. They trusted someone who hadn’t earned it, and they paid the price.

- Do you trust people? I think you do. We haven’t known each other that long, yet here you are alone in my apartment. I know what you’re thinking. I invited you so I must trust people too. Well you are half right, I do trust, but not in people. I trust myself and my ability to control the situation.
Like the situation we are in right now. We could have gone to your place or found a more private area where we were, but instead we are here. Why? Because I insisted and gave well-thought-out arguments and although you hesitated, in the end you caved. Because you decided to trust me. Me a guy you just met. And now we are here, in my apartment, in a building, on a street that I know, and you do not.
Tell me, do you still trust me?

- I had teachers that trusted me. One told me I had potential, it is a vague statement, I know, but still one based on knowledge of my work. Another told me I had a very creative and artistic mind, which is more specific and maybe advisory when it comes to further studies and career choices. I don’t think either of them had what I do now in mind when they talked about my potential but hey, that’s the way life goes sometimes. You can encourage people to follow their talent, but you can’t dictate their path.

- Did you have anyone in your life who encouraged you to follow your passion and be the best that you could be? “The best that you can be”. Isn’t that the motto for the military? No, that’s “Be all that you can be”. I never liked the military, they are all about following orders and doing things for other more powerful people. People with agendas, agendas you don’t know and don’t need to know. “Just go where we tell you to go, do what we tell you to do and trust that is the right thing to do.”
There is that word again, trust, We can’t seem to escape it. It is like it is built into the very foundation of our society. Like a cloak forcing us to stay in the dark only knowing what the powers-that-be wants us to know. “Don’t think for your self. Trust us!”

- I like thinking for my self, trying new ways of solving old problems. Failing often, but always learning. Maybe that’s why I was never happy in any job I had. To many people wanted to have a say in how things were done. And you should always do things by the book. Time is money, efficiency is key and all that crap.
I do my own thing now. No boss and no colleges. Just me, doing what I want to do. It gets lonely sometimes, sure I meet plenty of people, some more interesting that others, but they never turn into lasting relationships… Off any kind.

-I can see you are starting to understand that this is not some kinky game. But don’t worry too much, as your blood leaves the body, so too does your life. It will all be over soon.

- Do you think you will be missed?
The Hedgehog
Hedgehogs stomp in the night.
Use their nose to find food and not sight.
They sleep during the day. In a nest made of hay.
Eat spiders and bugs with delight.
